Rattan Chand Arya Public School was founded on 5th May, 1971 by the renowned industrialist Sh. Rattan Chand Sood and Smt Satyavati Sood. The school has been able strike out a balance in maintaining the connection with our roots and traditions under the able guidance of of the founder members ( late Sh P. L Gupta , late Sh Roshan Lal Gupta and late Sh M. L Gupta) . These members started the school with the sole purpose of promoting education, moral values and spiritual aspect among the young generation.The school has started as a primary school with six rooms only , is now fully a co- educational middle school. The school is recognised Upto class VIII from Directorate of Education. As our esteemed school is connected with ARYA VIDYA PARISHAD DELHI, DELHI ARYA PRATINIDHI SABHA, , school Our school believes in the culmination of knowledge and talent into performance. we wish to create an institution par excellence where young minds are ignited with a quest for learning, spirit of enquiry and scientific temperament. Our aim is to nurture our students as catalysts for change who are not only able to sustain themselves in a competitive world but also lead it without compromising on their values and principles. We are conscious of the fact that we have to fulfill the sacred mission of visionaries like Swami Dayanand, who lit the torch of education when our country was reeling in the darkness of illiteracy, superstition and decadence and this gives us confidence to move ahead despite hurdles and stumbling blocks. His call ‘Back to Vedas’ struck a chord and inspired people to reform themselves, to get rid of the false beliefs and adopt an objective, rational and progressive way of life. He stood up against social evils and started a spiritual and social renaissance in society by founding the Arya Samaj, exhorting people to become true ‘Aryas’.
Arya Samaj , whose mission is to eradicate (Abhav) which is Poverty or Indigence, (Anayay), or Injustice and (Agyan) or Ignorance from this earth is dedicated to ensure that this world is illuminated with people of great characters.
This is the reason Arya Samaj Schools have introduced Moral science as a subject to ensure moral teachings can be disseminated among today’s children. Imbibing moral values in a child will have great positive effects.
